Two New Instructional Guidebooks by Pete Hill
Pete Hill has just published two excellent new instructional books.
Entitled Rock Climbing and Sport Climbing, it should be obvious to all what each book covers and you can read our full review in the articles section of this website.
I'm sure many of you will be enjoying then BBC series Mountain with Griff Rhys Jones, which is currently showing every Sunday night. Well, its soon to be out on DVD for you to enjoy time and time again.

These guides cover over 220 routes split between north and south Lakeland. The original topo sketches have been preserved but the vast quantity of colour photos and maps are a real improvement on the existing guides.
Review of Scotland's Mountain Ridges by Dan Bailey
Our review of the brilliant guide by Dan Bailey - Scotland's Mountain Ridges - is now available in the articles section of this site.
This book describes nearly 50 ridge routes in Scotland in both summer and winter conditions. It is larger in format than the average guide but the vast quantity of colour photos and maps really benefit from this format.
