This book is aimed at those undertaking the MIA or MIC qualifications and is approved by Association of Mountaineering Instructors. It is also useful for those undertaking the Mountain Leader and Single Pitch Award as contains loads of useful information

The book covers Mountain Leadership Skills, Technical Skills for Summer and Winter Climbing, Avalanche Awareness and Snowcraft Skills. The book has a hard wearing plastic cover, supposedly so you can use it on the hill but not sure how practical that is.
