There are numerous sites that provide excellent UK forecasts. Our favourite is Metcheck, with the BBC and Met Office sites providing a similar service. The links below will take you to our favourite sites:

If you can read them, synoptic charts are a great source of information for forecasting the weather.

If you're praying for snow then watch out for the 528 (dashed) line. When this drops over the UK you can generally expect some snow to the north of it!

The rainfall radar for the UK supplied by the Met Office is really useful if you're about to head out for a days climbing and you'd like to check if its raining at the crag or if it has been in the last 6 hours. Excellent!

Not exactly a forecast but important if you are planning on going sea cliff climbing. The list below contains links to sites which will give you details of the tides on the UK coastline and around the world. Check those tides and don't get wet!
