In this section of the site we've pulled together various screensavers and desktop wallpapers related to climbing and mountaineering. Included in these are some of our own which we've created using the photographs we've taken on our travels.
All files have been scanned for known viruses using McAfee VirusScan prior to being uploaded to the server. However, we recommend that you have up to date virus software on your computer before downloading and running any files from the Internet.

Here’s one of ours, made up of series of photographs taken during our trip to the Alps in June 2004. You can see more of the photos in the gallery else where on the site.

This is the classic climber screensaver developed by Paul Roberts between 1997 & 1998. This is version 1 beta 9 and has been tested on Windows 2000 & XP.

Since the launch of the new look site earlier this month, we have been burning the midnight oil trying to make Mountaindays even better!

Over the coming months we are planning a series of articles about the fundamentals of navigation and we have more mountain bike specific reviews and articles in the pipeline.
Andy Kirkpatricks new autobiography, which charts how he broke onto the UK climbing scene and his thirteen day solo climb of Reticent Wall on El Capitan in California
